8. Assessment Responses
When you complete the Where You Are Assessment we process your individual answers to each question, the result generated from them, the date and time you completed it, and the page or campaign that brought you to it.
Two separate things happen with this information, and you control the second one.
Your result is saved to your account so we can show it to you, give you access to the material that corresponds to it, and let you take the assessment again later and compare. This is part of delivering the service you asked for.
Your individual question by question answers are kept for research only if you give us permission at the moment you take the assessment. We use them to study how the questions perform as a group and to improve the instrument. This is optional and unticked by default. If you decline, you still receive your complete result and lose nothing.
Your answers describe how you experience your emotions, your body, your thinking and your relationships. We treat this as sensitive information. It is never sold, never shared with advertisers, never used to target advertising at you, and never visible to other members. Access is limited to the owner of the site and to service providers bound by confidentiality.
If the assessment includes an optional free text field, what you write there may be read by a person for the single purpose of noticing whether someone may need support. We do not reply to free text entries individually. The assessment is not a support channel. If you are in danger or in crisis, contact emergency services in your country.
This assessment is an orientation tool. It is not a diagnosis, not a clinical or psychological evaluation, and not a substitute for therapy or medical care. Its result carries no clinical value.
9. Legal Basis for Processing
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following bases.
Performance of a contract, for orders, account access, and saving your assessment result to your account.
Your consent, for keeping your individual assessment answers for research, for marketing emails, and for non essential cookies.
Legal obligation, for tax and invoicing records.
Legitimate interest, for site security and fraud prevention.
You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@starquestvision.com. Withdrawal stops future processing and does not affect what was done lawfully before you withdrew.
10. How Long We Keep Your Data
Order and invoicing records are kept for the period required by Mexican tax law.
Account information and your assessment result are kept while your account is active and for twelve months after it becomes inactive.
Individual assessment answers kept for research are held for twenty four months from the date you submit them. After that they are permanently separated from your identity and cannot be linked back to you. Those separated answers may be kept without time limit for aggregate study only.
Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Our website and databases are hosted outside the European Economic Area. Mexico is not covered by a European Commission adequacy decision.
